More Catalogs For View..

Well..it seemed that the pics of my catalogs are pretty big and it's slow for uploads in here. So I'd temporary put up partial of the catalogs in another place. For those who're interested in viewing the catalogs, please refer to : http://tarot.feohworks.com If you have trouble viewing it, try refreshing the site and see if it works. If viewing problems still persist, just drop me a mail and I'll make sure it's viewable again.

It's 1st of November and I wonder how everyone had spent their Halloween last night. It was raining on my side last night so it was better staying indoors than out..anyway, though it's a little late but here are 2 Halloween's decks than I'd found nice..

The next season coming up's Christmas but I've hardly seen of any Christmas decks all these years..I bet if there really is one on Christmas, it'll be an awfully nice one..don't you think so?

Viewing The Catalogs..

It's been a long time since I last updated in here..and I sincerely apologize to anyone who happened to be browsing my page every now and then..I have been catching up with my partner; Cheryl, this few weeks..partly was to just hang out for a while, having a cup of coffee or tea and having a meal together had felt refreshing. Other than that, we had also been discussing on some decks, reading methods, spreads used, picture details and so on..Besides catching up with Cheryl, I've also came to know some new friends of similar trades..Nicky, Joey, Anne and a few others..knowing them makes me feel more illuminated as I started out reading where a deck can hardly be found around my area at all and realizing that now, many have come to enjoy the company of tarot in our lives. These friends are each special in their own trades, with wonderful crystal, feng shui, and tarot readings which stresses more on Kabbalah's knowledge..almost like Neville Drury's method. Anyhow; I will be uploading some catalogs on the decks that I provide, to collectors and readers likewise but mainly for the friends that I had notified earlier on. The current picture that you're viewing on top is the cover page of Lo Scarabeo's 2009 edition. They had added many new items in this year. Have fun viewing~

The four pictures that you can see here are the latest decks for the year. I like especially the dream enchantress and sweet twiligth..and Cheryl also like the sweet twiligth too..but I can see that Cheryl's getting addictive with the collections just like I do. I bet most collectors are like that, never getting enough with just a deck for collection. Cheers to all collectors~! Anyway, for this post, I'll only introduce the cover and the new releases. We'll move on to others when I get back in here..and I suppose I won't take too long to be back..see you soon~

Looks like I'm really slow in updating my blogs..

Well, I would like to present you, my partner to-be in my tarot readings..though she's still a little extra busy with her work all the time~but anyhow, here I present all of you, Cheryl~! We've been discussing quite some time about working together on the readings just so querents won't need to wait too long to be attented but anyway, Cheryl won't be free until she really is ready to help out with the readings..So, I'll just carry on waiting until she's all set to go along with me..*sighs~* she had always loved tarot just like I do and we had been friends since we were children..what's funny is that at times, we share the same weird pastimes that some others don't..so I guess that's probably the bond that had held us strong for so many years..take a look at her~so happy upon receiving her decks when we were hanging out in one of the cafes some time ago..at the same time, I'm delighted too when I see how her eyes shone when she unpacked those decks..*grins* we just can't get enough from tarot itself..there'r just so many mysteries awaiting to be explored~!!!

Okay~enough of my partner now, let's get back to some of the decks I'd previously left out...today, I'll be introducing two sets of decks that were published in Hong Kong. However, these two decks come with Mandarin based books..So only those who understand Mandarin well will find those books useful but fear not, as the decks themselves are in English..so the decks can still be of use even when you don't understand a word about the books..provided you do know how to read the cards, of course..the deck on the right here's the first version of Iris's..this deck is more to anime types so teens will probably find this deck pretty for collection or reading purposes. However, the pages of this deck are named as princesses instead of pages. Overall, the images are pretty, only a little whee bit extra glaring due to the high gloss effects it has on the cards. Though it's a high gloss deck, much more glossier than those of U.S Games' but rest assured that you won't have difficulty shuffling it..it's still smooth to the touch..*winks*

Next, the deck you're viewing now is the second version from Iris as well..but this decks has much more improvement with the images and what makes it even prettier is that the deck's black..well, I don't know..maybe I'm more intrigued with black based decks..else I wouldn't have loved Nefertari so much..*grins* Though the deck's quality's slightly the same with the previous version, I think maybe this deck will win the favor from more of other readers..as this deck adds more maturity to its images that allows more chances of unpacking the metaphors of the deck by each and every reader. So for those who already own this set, have fun exploring and studying it to gain more insights. Before I end this blog for the day, I would also like to inform that a stranger that happened to dropped me a mail once about a month ago or so, is now successfully a beginner who's taking on his very first journey through the path of tarot and also my new friend..Benjamin, it's nice to have known you and I sincerely wish that you will be able to gain more insights with every reading you practice from now onwards..gambateh~!

More decks to view~

It's been a while since I last came in here for updates. Been brainstorming a little more than usual and spending some quality times with my friends too. Here are some other decks which had been snapped but have yet to be published in here. Most of them are suitable for collectors. So feel free to check them out. Besides the normally seen tarot decks, I've also added in some oracle decks to spice up the realm of readings~ Maybe I'll consider publishing some of my other tools in here as well. We'll see how good a progress I can get into keeping my site neat.

In the deck of Universal Goddess, we'll tap ourselves into the goddesses and universal incarnations of the feminine magic. Each goddess is a single aspect of the Divine, the human nature. In this deck, all females figures are luxuriously and elegantly dressed, flaunting the beauty of their physical being as well as expressing the authority each and every one of them brings. This is quite a sexy deck for collection. I won't really suggest this deck for beginners as I find that this deck is more suitable for the intermediate and advance readers when it comes to reading with this deck. The back of the cards of repetitive imprints of a goddess's head nicely curved with the waxing, full and waning moon in the middle. From the creator Maria Caratti and artwork by Antonella Platano. Every card is beautifully decorated with vibrant colors. It's also a low glossed deck, smooth to touch.

The Feng Shui deck~ needless to say, it's a very oriental deck. This deck is by US Games though. It has strong and vibrant colors on every card and each card also comprises feng shui related elements which blends well with tarot features. The difference in this deck is that the wands are represented by tortoises while chalices are represented by phoenix, followed by white tigers to represent the sword suit and green dragons for the pentacles. This deck defines tarot with a combination of Feng Shui in a very special way. This deck is a high glossed deck and slightly a little larger than the decks I'd previously uploaded in here. Not suitable for beginners though. However, people who are into Feng Shui and wishes to dab in a little bit of tarot will find this a useful deck.
I'll end here for today and continue another day. There are still many other decks and reviews to be shared. I'm still not completely done with the articles and information yet. So I hope any readers out there can be patient with my posts. Many thanks~

More pretty decks coming your way...!

There had been some recent pictures which I've taken. Each and every deck has it's own charms and beauty which I hope will be able to leave some extraordinary impression to those who view...happy viewing~

Nefertari's Tarot..one of the prettiest decks which caught my eye and attention..it's beautifully published in gold foil with a black color background and repetitive imprints of the eye of Horus at the back of each card to bring out the beauty of each card's images, bringing us back to the times where the Gods of Egypt still reigns...a perfect deck for collection..

Ever seen a tarot deck that's too small to even shuffle? Here it is~ The Smallest Tarot In The World..it's so small that even kids won't know how to shuffle them! Can you actually guess how small it is? Guess no more..here's the measurements..each card measures at 14 x 22mm! cute? This one's also suitable for collection..

Each of us has a dark side which we are at times, reluctant to face it with courage. This is the Dark Grimoire Tarot, where even the human figures you see in each card appears disturbing and evil..notice that the back of the cards portrait a man hugging to a book..even that man's pretty expressionless..for those who are not afraid to face the dark sides, this shall be a nice deck to use..behold~the unknown is everywhere..surrounding us every day..how daring are you to confront your dark side through this deck?

Some pretty decks for your eyes..

I'm pretty much a lover of Lo Scarabeo's as many daring, creative, innovative and wonderful illustrators comes from there. Oh, and never leaving out the amazing young Victoria Frances from Fournier too. Her illustrations are awesome. However, I'm still loyal to my RWS deck for it was where I began understanding my tarot path and experiencing what tarot has to offer each and every day. Though decks shown here are of my possession but I do welcome interested buyers to mail me if any would like to own these decks someday.

This is Tarot Of The Renaissance, printed in China. Hence, Chinese description for each card has been added in. A special deck for collection. Quality of the cards are also pleasant. Smooth yet not highly glossed. From upper left and lower left, you will see the Queen of Wands and King of Wands, followed by the Queen of Cups and the King of Cups. Lastly, it's The High Priestess and The Magician of the Major Arcana.

This is Fey Tarot, a colorful deck which enhances more visually. It is a very mystifying deck comprising of creative creatures and human forms but you'll see that they're all in many different shades and colors. As you see here, each of the cards presented are of the same attribute from the first deck's introduction:-Queen of Wands, King of Wands, Queen of Chalices, King of Chalices, The Seer and the The Magician.

Now this, is a very special deck as it has two sides of the same picture. Tarot Of The Secret Forest. Only the back is illustrated in black and white. Both sides can be used during interpretation and that is what makes this deck so special. As from what you're seeing in this picture, the back of this card is actually the 10 of Coins. Notice that color specification is also very visible in this deck though the image themselves may appear in blurry forms. However, in this deck, description of each card is in numbers and symbol forms rather than wordings. So this deck may be suitable for advanced and professional readers while beginners will find it rather difficult to absorb what the deck has to say.

This is an oracle deck, called the Gypsy Witch Fortune Telling Cards. More or less like Lenormand style fortune telling. Only in this deck, anyone can read as long as they understand what the card description is about, as the meanings of each card is clearly stated right on the cards themselves. Suitable for all levels of readers, friends who're having gatherings in resorts or on holidays while seeking for some 'quick guidance' but lack of reading experiences. This deck is rather highly glossed though. For those who goes for low to medium glossed decks, maybe they will not opt for this deck.

Ah~the mythology of the Norse..this is The Vikings, where you'll discover ancient lores of the Norse gods and giant creatures..all beautifully depicted in each and every card..low glossed. It'll simply amaze you when you study the image of each card..the expressions, the environment..Oh,well..as for the rest of the exploration, you may experience them yourself when you have your own deck..

Soon, I will be adding in more of other decks and I certainly do welcome enthusiast who would love to discuss about these decks as it will be meaningful to be able to share what each and everyone of us feels towards tarot itself..

A welcome note to those who chance upon this realm..

Welcome to my realm..a realm where you can discover the truth of yourself through the guidance of tarot readings..I am a tarot reader who offers her reading services to individuals who're interested and those who are not afraid of the truth revealed by the cards themselves..

Tarot itself is an ancient art and form of fortune telling that dwells in humans mind over the centuries, long even before I was born. By creating this blog, I dedicate this very first blog to Ms. Pamela Colman Smith who, may not have seen her work of art spread throughout the world in her living days but had deeply touched my heart when I've obtained my very first RWS deck. She was born in 16 February 1878 and passed on 18 September 1951. In memory of Mr. Arthur Edward Waite and Ms. Pamela, I seek to bring out the best I can through the flow of Tarot to those around me.

I had been reading for many years now, previously holding a day job while doing email tarot readings on a part time basis. Then finally decided to create a blog about what I have to offer in here,so as it will be easier for my friends and any potential individuals to browse through. I may not be good at blogging but I'll do what I can to make my page worth reading for those who drop by. I will also be adding in pictures of some readings and perhaps, dabbing in some tarot history and articles for the tarot enthusiasts from time to time. To make your readings more comfortable in here, I sincerely send on my blessings to all readers..may you be blessed with many happy moments each and every day.

Let us Transcend Amidst the Realm Of Tarot~

Warmest Regards,
Stella Hoshiko.
